Create your own blog- organize your thoughts in a post- add pictures- look at each others blogs and add your own ideas. Share links. (For some basics on blogging, use this Web site, or check out this other blog made by a teacher.)

Work in groups to create a blog expressing your viewpoint and sharing information about one of the themes below. Once your blog is created, be sure to give the workshop facilitators the URL of your blog so that we can link to it below in order to find each other's blogs quickly to add your comments.

Have a look at this video and reflect on how you use the Internet and current technologies. Is it in an informed, analytical way? What value does it add to your life? Do you contribute to the global community on your own or is your contribution encouraged by friends, family or a teacher?


Have a look at this definition of "Generation Z" or the "iGeneration" at Wikipedia. Does this describe you? Are a digital native or an immigrant?
